Support Us
Why Give?
Join like-minded visionaries and sponsors and drive a long-lasting positive impact that touches the lives of some of the smartest young people, and by extension, the beneficiaries of their work as they build their careers and drive impact on their own. Its like sparking a generational cascade of impact. To us, a longer-lasting form of sadqa-e-jaria, that has a global impact across time and space. Your support helps us:
- Transform scientific inquiries and technological ideas into breakthroughs and groundbreaking solutions.
- Address inequities and the underlying knowledge and data gaps with regards to our population in the region.
- Train and give the world the next generation of world-class scientists, engineers and innovators from our region.
- Nurture an intellectual culture of creativity, inquiry, original thought and the pursuit of excellence.
- Build confidence and encourage home-grown science to help solve local problems, and beyond.
- Promote science and the scientific method in society at large. Promote the joy, wonder and love of science amongst the masses.
Ways to Give?
The Masters Scholarship
Starting 2025, we are looking to raise 24x USD 7000 gifts from individual donors, families, foundations and corporations to help us support 24 of the finest postgraduate students every year to undertake the Masters in Data Science degree specialising in Biomedicine from the Institute of Management Sciences, one of the leading academic institutions in the region. The Masters programme is fully accredited by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad. An annual recurring gift of USD 7000 (renewable every 5 years) earns the sponsor naming rights for the scholarships.
The Director's Fund
This flexible fund is vital for addressing the most pressing and emerging needs at the Lab and your generosity supports areas of our work that need it the most. The funds could be used for an unexpected consumable or reagent need at the Lab (which is very common in science), or chipping in to the travel cost for a young scientist to go and present their latest work at a top-tier conference, or help us host a public lecture, a brainstorm or a community event, or any other emergent need at the Lab. All decisions follow our financial policies and benefit from the oversight and advice of our Board.
Buy the lab a gift
Not all research grants cover every kind of instrument or piece of equipment. These physical assets have a multiplier effect as they can be used for new experiments across groups and studies in the Lab over the course of their life-time. We curate a wish-list of items and pieces of equipment – big and small – which you can help us procure.
| Serial | Item Description | Est. cost + taxes and ship | Status |
| 1 | UV-Visible Spectrophotometer | USD 2900 | Active |

Partner on an initiative
Organisations, Companies and Institutions can sponsor and partner with us on specific ideas (concepts only) or initiatives (concepts with preliminary work done) that we have developed internally or with collaborators. Supporting such ‘team science’ not only enables the scientific project itself but also forges potentially long-lasting relationships with collaborating institutions paving the way for longer term impact beyond the project lifetime. If any of the Initiatives below excites you, please do not hesitate to write to us.
| Serial | Concepts and Initiative | Collaborator(s) | Type &Inception |
| 1 | Wearables for Mothers: using smart watches to track for five key pregnancy complications in first time mothers | Dept. of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Rehman Medical Institute | Initiative; April 2023 |
