Journal Clubs

Led by Dr. Faisal Khan, our journal club sessions are an integral part of the Summer Elective Program, offering students the opportunity to engage deeply with scientific literature. Each session involves a guided walkthrough of a published research paper, section by section, focusing not only on understanding the content but also on how to critically analyze its structure, methodology, and presentation.

These discussions help students build a strong foundation in scientific reasoning and develop the confidence to question and critique research. The journal clubs are an open space for dialogue, reflection, and sharpening analytical skills—essential tools for any aspiring researcher.
